Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technician/Upfitter to join our team at Fat Bob's Garage. In this role, you will leverage your extensive automotive expertise in both maintenance/repair and aftermarket upfitting while contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch products and services to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with service writers and other technicians to streamline operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies, repair techniques, and aftermarket product installation procedures.
  • Approach each job with a positive and clear understanding of the job to better ensure the customer's satisfaction.
  • Maintain an Efficient workflow through the workday.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician with electrical diagnostic skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including suspension, electrical, CANBUS, and braking.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Team Oriented
  • 4 Years of experience as a technician/upfitter in a shop environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of aftermarket automotive products, including lifts, lighting, towing, air systems, etc...
  • Familiarity with GM, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota/Lexus, and Nissan/Infiniti vehicles is highly recommended but not mandatory.
  • Strong ability to problem solve, we are a custom shop, and we have to be adaptable to the job.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail in repairs/upfitting.
  • Strong ability to be efficient and effective under time constraints (Flat Rate Pay)
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 45 per week
